Need something green to wear? Well these little guys are so cute on a baseball tee. Check it out! Let me tell you how I did this in Cricut Design Space.

Supplies:

Step 1: Get the St Patrick’s Day Gnomes Free SVG

It’s totally free for personal use! There is a commercial version available also if you are wanting to create to sell!

Step 2: Upload the SVG to Cricut Design Space

This part is pretty standard for all the files you get from all kinds of sources. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, here is a quick run down:

  1. On a new canvas, select upload from the icons on the left.
  2. Click on Upload Image
  3. Drag and Drop or Browse your computer for the type of file (SVG for this one)
  4. Click Save
  5. When it shows up in the recently uploaded images, click on it to select it and then click insert images

Step 3: Add to your st Patrick’s day gnomes

If the font is not available in Cricut Design Space, you will need to add a text box and type in Lucky or whatever you want! Size it by using the top boxes or using the tool on the lower right hand corner to drag it inwards. Place the text on top of the sign.

Step 4: Slice

Select the Sign and the Text by holding down the shift key and selecting each image. Then click on the slice button in the lower right corner.

Then drag the dark filled lettering outside and the outline layer outside. Select both of those and delete them. This leaves the blank letters in the sign so the shirt color will show threw.

Step 5: Add Some Fun Text

Add a text box and have some fun! I chose “Let the Shenanigans Begin!” for my cute little gnomes. I used the Fontastic Fonts. There are all kinds of fun things you can use. Try searching Google Images for St. Patrick’s Sayings or Pinterest. There are lots to choose from.

Step 6: Decide what you are going to put your design on!

I love doing T-Shirts and it’s so convenient that Design Space has the templates that give you a good idea of what your design will look like!

This design would also be fun on a Mug! Great for your party guests! or try a banner!
