I am mesmerized by tiny things. That is what inspired me to create my own DIY Gnome and Fairy Garden using simple items found at thrift stores and then embelishing with items found at the craft stores and even Dollar Tree!

The Fairy Castle
This little fairy garden was put together with little metal figures for the unicorn and fairy, miniature bunny and bird figures were added. Tiny flowers, a stamped rock, and a tiny ladybug sticker add cuteness. The house and cheese dome came from local thrift shops. I trimmed the top of the castle to fit inside the dome. I have a little more to trim off. All were secured with a glue gun to the base of the cheese dome.
Winter Wonderland
This is one of my favorites. It is a winter wonderland gnome garden. I used metal gnomes I found at a thrift store, moss, white bottle brush tree, little wood house found and a cheese dome both found at a thrift store. I loved this one because of the tree like base!
Gnome Garden
My little gnomes hang out in this greenhouse type container I found at Hobby Lobby. I purchased the gnomes and the miniature mushrooms there as well. I placed little birdies on the cottage I purchased at a thrift store.
You can find all sorts of fun stuff for your gnome and fairy gardens. You can even use Christmas miniatures to do a really cute Holiday scene. It’s nice because they don’t take up much room, and because they have a cover, they are easy to dust!
