In honor of my mom, Cristina, her grand daughter, made a beautiful 3D Mandala Cricut Hummingbird for Mother’s Day. It turned out to be such a tribute to the way my mom loved both hummingbirds and roses. Thank you to Cindy Duke for sharing the file in Design Space!
In order to create this beautiful project, you will need access to Cricut Access for Cricut Design Space. It is a monthly or annual subscription and can be cancelled at any time. There are a few projects that we show you how to make using files inside the program so even if you sign up for one month and then cancel, you can get all these projects within that month! Cindy also sells her design on Etsy! Check out her shop here!

Cut & Assemble hummingbird
Here’s a video of how the hummingbird was cut and assembled.
Assemble in Shadow Box
Lay out your all items in your shadowbox and play around with placement until you get exactly what you want!
Using the same foam adhesive stickers, apply to the back of the hummingbird, flowers, and photo.
You could even do some vinyl lettering for a saying or a date or whatever and place it inside the shadowbox or right on the glass!
Doesn’t this make a lovely tribute?
Pin it for later:
